I have a crazy Puerto Rican abuela and Im not afraid to use her shirt. Almost every day he asks about his hair and will it grow back. We as a family always try to reassure him that he is still handsome and a beautiful gift from God. I get so tired of hearing people say don’t make a big deal of it and he won’t care. This is not true at all. It is a very big deal to a child. There will always be someone poking fun or someone looking at him in pity Yes he will learn to be strong and handle what is around him. But it is a lot for a little one to deal with or understand. My beautiful 9-year-old daughter Serenity Blue Has alopecia as well.
